Shell V-Power 93. 2014 Focus ST. Not too shabby (at least compared to my 03' Mustang GT)

Impressive. Highway/city/mixed? Apparently the 2.0 Ecoboost can actually get pretty good fuel economy if you can stay out of the boost (which I definitely wouldn't if I had an ST.)

About 70/30 highway/city. I wasn't shy about getting into the boost though :)

A few days after I bought the car, I went on a 250 mile road trip. I averaged around 27, but the car was obviously still in its break-in period.

To me, a "good tank of fuel" gets about 7 mpg.

So the fuel economy gets better after a breakin period? I've only got about 1400 miles on my ST and so far the fuel economy has been pretty terrible even when I stay out of the boost

I get about the same MPG despite having only 68% the HP and without most creature comforts.

Ah well, my car makes violent VTEC noises and always fills you with a sense of imminent death every time you go for a drive. That's always fun. :)

I've noticed right around 50*, I get awesome gas mileage. Which is this week.

I've been getting 26- 28 mpg in my 2010 Camaro.

Needs more track time.

That will definitely bring the average empeegees down to a more reasonable number.

Sadly, my BMW only gets 11MPG on the track. I wanted to get single digits with it.

Goddamnit, Valvetronic.
